Dear Friends,
I don’t know fit here is anything worse than regret, it’s the ‘what ifs’ that keep us trapped in the past. It doesn’t pay in any of our three state of being (mind, body or soul) to live in regret. The error in thinking is that there are a limited number of opportunities.
In life, whether it be finances, health, love or any other facet there are always going to be opportunities to improve. Of course, the past serves a purpose. It can teach us that certain behaviors don’t benefit us and certain ones do. We also have to realize that in our ever changing world, we cannot hang on to those ideas that worked in the past but no longer serve us.
Just because they worked in the past, doesn’t mean they will work going forward. So flexibility in life is essential.
No better practice to get more flexible is yoga! I have been doing this little routine that is on my website every morning for just shy of 19 years. I have missed a handful of times (like the time our son woke us up to a house fire) but otherwise they start my day with grounding me.
Flexibility.
Strength.
Breath work.
All in less than 10 minutes. No regrets there!
