This year I challenge you to make a health plan. What do I mean a “health plan”. Think about it this way: we have financial plan,  business plan, house plans, garden plans, etc…. We plan our whole lives except when it comes to our health. We tend to accept our health as something that just happens to us. But guess what? It isn’t! While yes, we are given a genetic map, that is just one part of the equation.

Think of your health as a recipe for a gourmet meal: you are the sum of all of the ingredients and directions. And just like a gourmet meal, you need all the proper ingredients AND the proper actions to turn the ingredients into the masterpiece. So too is true with your body.

With a proper plan and proper ingredients you can create health! Without health, all other plans become either more difficult or impossible to accomplish.

Below will give you a general framework to move towards controlling your health. Every two months, we will present you with a path to health on the topics listed below.  You may notice there is no topic on immune health and that’s because each and every one of these ingredients are crucial aspects of the immune system.

Without a plan you are like a ship without a rudder- you have no control and you go where ever the tide takes you. With a plan you can always adjust according to the circumstances.
