I did a house call a couple Sundays ago while I was on a bike ride in the Kettles. I’ll have to ask my accountant how I can expense bicycle miles 🙂 What I saw was a wonderful example of a beautiful relationship.  This couple has been married a long time and she is now caretaking him since his stroke. Keeping him home and making sure he does everything he can to achieve his best possible recovery.

It was beautiful to see how far he has come. Sometimes I don’t think full recovery is as important as much as continued improvement. Continued improvement gives rise to continued hope and without hope, all is lost in any health recovery.

It was very special to be in a home with so much love.  What a great place to heal.

I treat lots of patients of all ages. One thing I have created is a bunch of nutritional protocols. If you aren’t familiar with my protocols I have created a page on my website with common ailments and how I generally support them. Click here to see all the nutritional protocols and maybe you can find one that could help you!

Stroke Nutritional Protocol:

Neuroplex – 3/day- feeds brain tissue repair

Olprima Epa/Dha– 2/day- EPA is anti inflammatory and DHA feeds brain. Makes up  40% of the dry weight of the brain.

Turmeric Forte– 2/day-  incredible anti-inflammatory for the brain. It’s been shown to cross blood brain barrier.

So if you know someone who has had a stroke and is on the road to healing, send them this link.
